Mapping the Chakras for Beginners

The chakra system is a map of 7 energy centers in the body that create an energy system. Each chakra is considered a major junction point between the body and the consciousness. Each chakra is located in various parts of the body and associated with different energy vibrations. These energies need to flow through the body properly because when one or more is blocked it can lead to emotional or physical illness.

The 7 chakras are envisioned as wheels of life force or points of energy initiation. Each one is associated with the body’s major neural networks and hormone systems. It is good to understand where the chakras are located and what each represents. This is a beginner’s guide to the 7 chakras.
